Drivers should consider using a recommended detour when a westbound Loop 303 lane restriction near I-17 in north Phoenix starts on Wednesday, Sept. 9, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Westbound Loop 303 will be narrowed to one lane between the I-17 interchange and 43rd Avenue from 5 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 9) through October. The restriction will be in place for bridge construction as part of ADOT’s ongoing I-17/Loop 303 interchange improvement project. Heavy traffic and delays are expected, especially along the northbound I-17 exit ramp at Loop 303/Sonoran Desert Drive. Drivers should consider using the following nearby detour:...
