A stretch of Oak Creek, including adjacent recreation sites and forest land, has been temporarily closed due to hazardous conditions resulting from flood waters. The stretch of Oak Creek between Call of the Canyon/ West Fork and Sedona is closed to the public and creek access is prohibited. Closed recreation sites include Call of the Canyon/ West Fork, Bootlegger, Banjo Bill, Halfway, Manzanita, Encinoso and Grasshopper Point. In addition to the closure of Oak Creek and the aforementioned recreation sites, 100 feet of forest land on either side of Oak Creek is closed to public use. A formal closure order...
