Citizen Police Academy in Prescott Valley

The Prescott Valley Police Department (PVPD) is accepting applications for its upcoming Citizen Police Academy, an engaging program designed to provide community members with an inside look at modern law enforcement.

The program begins on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, and meets from 6-9pm for nine consecutive Tuesdays at the PVPD Training Room at 7601 E Skoog Blvd.

The Citizen Police Academy is designed to educate, inform, and encourage open communication between the police department and the community. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, interact with officers, and gain valuable insight into the decision-making processes involved in policing.
