Sgt. Rick Lopez Blood Drive Brings Friendly Competition

A friendly rivalry between local police officers and firefighters is helping fuel a lifesaving mission as the community prepares for the annual Sgt. Rick Lopez Memorial Blood Drive. This year's blood drive, held in honor of fallen Prescott Police Sgt. Rick "RLO" Lopez includes a spirited competition between the police and fire departments. Residents who donate blood can choose to support either Team Police or Team Fire, with the department bringing in the most donors earning possession of a traveling trophy and a year of bragging rights.
