Favorable weather conditions are in place for hazardous fuels reduction work on Skyline Dr. and Porter Mountain Area. After a successful week of pile burning in the Skyline and Iron Springs Rd area, fire managers on the Bradshaw Ranger District plan to continue pile burning in the areas of Skyline Dr, as well as the Porter Mountain area. These hand piles are from recent hazardous fuels reduction and thinning projects. Ignitions could begin as early as Tuesday, February 24th near Porter Mountain and/or Skyline Dr. Burning will continue through the week and into the weekend as long as weather and...
