The Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo Foundation has continued the popular annual tradition of commissioning an artist to illustrate the theme of the World's Oldest Rodeo®. For 2025, the Foundation selected Sarah Phippen, renowned for her contemporary realism depicting western life, as the artist to celebrate the theme “Women in Rodeo.” On Saturday, July 5th, the Foundation will host an Artist’s Reception and Auction at the Sharlot Hall Museum, 415 West Gurley Street in Prescott from 4:00 to 6:00 pm to showcase the unveiling and auction the original painting.
