Work to Begin on Main Street in Cottonwood

On Tuesday, December 17 the contract for the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of 10th Street and Main Street was approved by City Council. The contract was awarded to Combs Construction Company, Inc. The new roundabout will correct the offset intersection and provide a safe intersection that will function at a high level of service. Construction will commence starting the week of January 20. The City’s contractor will make every effort to maintain traffic throughout construction, however, travelers can expect intermittent lane closures, lane closures and traffic shifts as construction progresses.
