The Prescott Valley Police Department was recently notified that scammers are calling local residents, posing as officers for our agency. The suspects are asking for monetary donations. PVPD will never call residents and ask for money for any cause.

Even if your caller ID indicates it is coming from the Prescott Valley Police Department, this information can be faked. It is the goal of PVPD to keep our citizens informed when these new scams come around, so you can keep from being scammed.
