Prescott Valley Police Department Hiring New Officers
The Prescott Valley Police Department (PVPD) is a growing agency in a vibrant community that is looking for outstanding, motivated people to serve as police officers. The PVPD offers job opportunities in specialized units, such as bike patrol, traffic enforcement, school resource officers, SWAT, K9, and Drug Enforcement with medical and dental benefits, tuition reimbursement, take home vehicles, and work/life balance.
The PVPD will be hosting its next test date on Saturday, January 31, at 9am at the Police Department at 7601 E Skoog Boulevard. Attendance at this testing event is by invitation only and applicants must submit an online application through the Town of Prescott Valley and complete an online AZPOST Personal History Statement.
To be considered for testing, please complete the steps below:
First: Go to my.azpost.gov, the website for Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training, to create an account and complete your Personal History Statement online. You will be issued a form ID number. Write this number down. Click the “share” button and check the box next to Prescott Valley Police Department.
Second: Apply online at: governmentjobs.com/careers/prescottvalleyaz for police officer recruit positions and laterals. Once your application is submitted, a background investigator will contact you to obtain your form ID number, send you documents, and schedule you for testing.
For assistance with your application or if you have questions, call PVPD at 928-772-9261 and ask for the backgrounds unit.
Prescott Valley Police Department can be contacted at (928) 772-9267 for non-emergencies, 911 for emergencies. Yavapai County Silent witness is 1-800-932-3232.
