What Caused the Heavy Police Presence on Willow Creek Road?

Drivers traveling on Willow Creek Road on Wednesday may have noticed a stronger than usual police presence. The Prescott and Prescott Valley Police Departments, along with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, joined forces as part of the Tri City Task Force to focus enforcement efforts on this busy corridor. Throughout the operation, officers conducted 105 traffic stops. These stops resulted in 69 speeding citations and 3 excessive speed citations.
